Locally grown, with love.

Tar Heel Flowers started as a hobby flower farm on our postage stamp of a yard in 2023. We quickly realized that Tyler was incapable of having a casual hobby, and started selling our flowers to offload the surplus. In 2024, we moved to a much bigger lot in Hillsborough, where we have more room to grow flowers and raise our family.

In our first year on the farm, we planted over 700 dahlia tubers, got around1000 perennials in the ground, and harvested around 20,000 annuals (all while raising two toddlers, and working two full-time jobs - we don’t sleep much). We cannot wait to see what the future holds for this little garden.
